Why You Should Visit The Springs
Capturing the rustic personality of Colorado, Strawberry Hot Springs is a instant favorite to all who visit. The abundance of trees, flowers, and vibrant colors reflecting from the changing seasons and daily sunsets, create an ambiance throughout the hillside perfect for any occasion. Whether you need a unique date idea for that special babe, or you simply want to take a soak after a hard day of playing in the mountains, Strawberry Hot Springs will not disappoint.
What To Expect
Though Strawberry Springs is open year-round, it can have a completely different feel depending on the season and time of day in which you visit. Regardless of the season, the springs will provide you with breathtaking views and scenery; however, if you can visit during the colder seasons, there is something especially cozy when your surroundings are covered in a blanket of snow.
During the daytime hours, the springs would be considered more family friendly setting; but as the sun goes down, the story changes. Kids under 18 years of age are no longer permitted entry… and well, you know what that means. The blindness of the black night takes over and the real spring experience comes out.
Personally, I would recommend visiting in the fall or winter seasons just before sundown for the full experience. Cold weather, sunsets, fall colors, snow, and after dark festivities.
