Get Down With Postino Wine Cafe

(Good For: date idea, hosting out-of-towners, social scene on a weekday)

We can all relate to the, often disappointing, dilemma of trying to find something to do on a Tuesday night in Denver.  Well, fret not my fellow drinkers; Tuesday night means “Board and Bottle” at Postino Wine Café in LoHi. For $20 you will receive a bottle of wine, a sizable board of bruschetta, and prime look into the Denver social scene – which can be a non-existent elsewhere on an ordinary Tuesday evening.

Whether you are hosting friends from out of town, need of a new date idea, or you simply have a hankering for bruschetta and wine, Postinos is your local Tuesday night gem.

Before You Arrive, Know What To Expect

First and foremost, expect a wait. They do not accept reservations and you will not have much luck just walking in - but what can you expect from a deal so righteous: great wine, prime bruschetta, killer back patio, and cool laid back vibe.

There is a reason the expected wait does not deter people from regularly visiting.

Really, all this means is you can put your name on the list and walk next door to Recess Beer Garden (a badass beer garden) while you wait. Recess also has a solid Tuesday night special that pairs perfectly with Postino's "Board and Bottle": $3 draft beers.

So when you are thinking of where to go this Tuesday night, head to Postinos and kick off your night with some cool drinks and chill peeps.

It is one of the best ways to find the social crowd on a Tuesday night in Denver.

To Know: Postino’s "Board and Bottle" is also available Monday night. But we prefer Tuesdays in combination with Recess Beer Garden.

Tip: "Board and Bottle" starts at 8:00pm both Monday and Tuesday nights. Try getting there before 7:30pm to snag a table. You can grab an app and wait for "Board and Bottle" to begin.

Tip Two: Positinos only serves beer and wine.

Wait Time: Wait time is usually at least an hour (when arriving after 7:30pm). You can always try to snag a seat at the bar - which is open seating

Bonus: After your meal, head to Little Man for some Ice Cream - a local favorite.
